Kanye West.....do you hear me? You one-upper, greedy, thunder stealer!! Need I say more? I mean the man can't seem to let anyone else have their moment to shine. His behavior at the MTV VMA's was appalling last night. I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but who does he really think he is getting up on stage and ruining Taylor Swift's moment?!?! Seriously Kanye, it was like a monster attacking a kitten. While Kanye may need a few lessons in public etiquette, Taylor Swift could write a book for young girls on how to act! When Kanye lost a few year's ago and got on stage to rant, it was over the top and obnoxious, but I believe what he did last night was worse because he wasn't even a part of the category. Way to try and steal her thunder Kanye!
This weekend, Jeremy and I had some friends over for dinner and we were telling them about a conversation we heard on the radio about people stealing your thunder at very inappropriate times. Two of them involved weddings and both involved members of their bridal party. The first girl had a bridesmaid who got engaged during dinner at her reception and the other......I still can't believe this really happened.......well the other bride was having the symbolic first dance with her new husband and noticed the camera flashes were all going off, but not at them. Another bridesmaid had gotten engaged.....during their FIRST DANCE!! I was horrified for these poor people. What kind of idiots are these girls marrying that would do something like this and how could these girls think it was an appropriate time for this?!?!? Seriously, I was appalled.
Moral of the story.....let people enjoy their earned moments in the spotlight. Karma always wins in the end!!
